Cost: $160 ($10 to rent a machine)
Skill level: Advanced beginner/intermediate
Schedule: This class is a total of 10 hours broken into 2 or 3 sessions depending on the class dates you choose; see up coming dates/times in drop-down menu
Description: Formerly known as "Sewing Garments Level II".
So you’ve already made a simple project using a pattern, and want to move on to something more challenging? In this class you can work on your choice of a pair of pants, blouse, dress or shirt, or a more complicated skirt (or pick your own project!) Depending on your project choice, you’ll learn more difficult sewing techniques such as sleeve insertion, button front placket, collars, cuffs, pleats, and full-body darts.
Students registering for the class should already have basic pattern experience such as our Sewing with Patterns 101 class. A sewing machine is required for the class (rentals available). Class Supply list can be found here.
Please note: I do have cats at my studio, and I make sure to vacuum before classes, but you may want to take allergy medicine if you are allergic.
