RESCHEDULING/REFUNDS

Group Lessons/Workshops

Credit/Refund policy
If you are unable to take the class, you may receive a studio credit for a future class.
Credit policy for group Lessons/Workshops
30 days or more: 100% credit
15-29 days: 50% class credit
Less than 14 days notice: No credit available.
No-shows or workshops that you are unable to complete, as well as missed sessions, are non-refundable.

Class transfer
i.e., your schedule changes and you want to take a different class or series of classes.
15 or more days prior to start of workshop: $25 processing fee
Less than 14 days: No transfer available
Classes with only one person signed up may still be held at the discretion of the instructor with a reduced class time. If the class is not held due to low enrollment, a refund will be issued, or payment can be transferred to another session.

We understand that your schedule may change or you may be away for part of a series class; therefore regarding classes that you won’t be able to make in a 4-class series with advance notice, you can make up one class at no charge in one of our 3-hour group labs. The labs are held approximately once a week.

Private Lessons
All fees are due on the date of the first lesson and are payable by check or cash. For a series of lessons, payment for the entire series is due on the first lesson. Private lessons must be completed within 3 months of date of initial purchase. Please give 24 hours notice if you must cancel/reschedule a lesson. Rescheduling with less than 24 hours cancellation notice is subject to a $25 rescheduling fee.

Returned check fee: there is a $25 charge for returned checks.

The Cat
Albany is our studio cat. (actually, we have three, but the others mostly stay hidden in another room.) She’s very friendly but can also disappear if needed. We make sure to vacuum before classes, but if you are highly allergic, please take this into account when registering. Most people do OK if they take allergy medicine before class.
